This is a NEMA type enclosure manufactured to operate in various locations throughout a metropolitan rail system. The enclosure had to be designed to accommodate a specialized, solid state air conditioning unit with a customer specified condensate drainage system.

Multiple IPS safes that housed classified equipment were deployed on an American military base; however, to create a proper networking infrastructure, holes would have to be drilled in the safe to accommodate conduit. Drilling holes would compromise the security and integrity of the safe.
