From our start in 1985, Great Lakes Case & Cabinet Co., Inc. developed internal expertise in design, engineering and fabrication of products to meet the specific needs of our customers. As we continued to expand our portfolio of products, so did our ability to evolve standard products into custom offerings, as customized enclosures became more important to a growing number of customers.
The creation of Great Lakes Manufacturing, Inc. and the selection of specific types of sheet metal fabrication equipment were designed to provide Great Lakes with state of-the-art production capabilities. As a result we are able to move back & forth between standard or custom product configurations, in small or large quantities, with minimal impact on daily operations. A significant investment was made to create the right manufacturing environment where innovation & technology could work together to meet the
specialized needs of our customers.
As the company continued its growth, Great Lakes Manufacturing also began expanding its metal fabrication offerings in response to requests from customers outside our core industries. Great Lakes’ reputation for quality & world class customer service also led us to begin offering “turn-key” original equipment manufacturing (OEM) services (to include product development, fabrication & assembly, packaging, inventory management and order fulfillment) for a number of companies both within and outside the data products marketplace.
As we work to continue to exceed our customers’expectations, Great Lakes has implemented a continuous improvement process which sustains our investment in new equipment, technologies and personnel. We are able to deliver any product in any quantity, world-wide, with the same care and quality of the early simple orders which helped create the company. Over the past three years alone, we have invested more than $13 million in equipment, facility & system upgrades.
Today, Great Lakes Manufacturing operates facilities in Corry, PA; Marion, NC; and Székesfehérvár, Hungary. We fabricate a variety of sheet metal products from cold rolled steel, to stainless steel, galvanneal and aluminum.
