Great Lakes’ NEMA 12 Free Standing Enclosures are constructed to be compliant with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association’s Type 12 standard. NEMA 12 enclosures are intended for indoor use to provide a degree of protection to the equipment inside the enclosure against dust, falling dirt, water and noncorrosive liquids. The GLN12 enclosure is also 19″ EIA 310-D compliant with 12 gauge, #12-24 threaded mounting rails. It allows for reversible mounting and includes provisions for cable access (1″-3″ conduit sizes). This enclosure has two T-handle compression latches and keyed locks with dust covers. The enclosure is constructed from 14 gauge cold-rolled North American steel in the main body and rear section, with a 16 gauge door. |
