The GLN12 enclosure is also 19″ EIA 310-D compliant with 12 gauge, #12-24 threaded mounting rails. It allows for reversible mounting and includes provisions for cable access (1″-3″ conduit sizes). This enclosure has two T-handle compression latches and keyed locks with dust covers. The enclosure is constructed from 14 gauge cold-rolled North American steel in the main body and rear section, with a 16 gauge door. |

NEMA 12 enclosures are intended for indoor use to provide a degree of protection to the equipment inside the enclosure against dust, falling dirt, water and noncorrosive liquids. These enclosures are also intended to provide a degree of protection to personnel against access to hazardous parts which may be mounted within the enclosure. |
