Built for Building Information Modeling (BIM), Autodesk Revit Architecture, software provide models to support the design, construction, planning, and fabrication of projects, while helping you collaboratively work with engineers, contractors, and owners. Great Lakes now gives you access to enclosure and wall mount models to help accurately design and build your data center. By using Revit software to configure your enclosure (choose tops, side panels, etc.) and then "dropping" it into a data center, you will be able to visualize layouts and simulate real world performance for better understanding of cost, scheduling, and overall organizational impact.
In accordance with BIM, ES enclosure models are accompanied with a Revit Content Guide that includes enclosure construction, electrical loads, model properties (i.e. top panel has brush grommet; rear door is solid), and structural components (i.e. load capacity, shipping weights). Selecting the specific components for your enclosure means you are able to view real-world placement and performance of Great Lakes enclosures in your future data center.
